Our very own Julia Diana Robertson had the pleasure of sitting down to chat with renowned journalist and broadcaster, Sonia Poulton, on her show Wake Up With Sonia Poulton & Guests. Here’s a clip where Robertson draws a parallel between gender ideology and what she calls “pharma ideology.” The two recount past trials and tribulations, while taking the time to appreciate recent victories.. Julia: So you have gender ideology, which originally the feminist were calling ‘trans ideology,’ and I was underground begging everybody, can we call this ‘gender ideology’…
Sonia: Right.
J: …because we don’t want to point at the wrong group of people. There’s the OG transexuals and then there’s this new gender ideology — bunch of Demi Lovatos. They’re straight but they want to be called they/them [snaps], they’re sassy, you know…
S: [laughs]
J: Those are the ones who really came in pushing this agenda really hard. The parents, straight parents, were pushing and pushing and pushing. Suddenly [NY] LGBT youth groups are being run by 3 straight women, the moms of “trans kids” [all working in the medical field]. It just became crazy. But can we talk about the parallel between what I was calling ‘gender ideology’ and now pharma ideology? It’s the same playbook. Anyone who disagrees…
S: She knows.
J: …gets booted out of the family. Their jobs are gonna get pulled away from them. We’re gonna make you look absolutely crazy. We’re gonna kick you out of our special party. No one’s gonna hear your voice anymore. And that is actually… when my voice started to get squashed a little bit, by the new women who had just come into what they started, you know… rebranding the gender ideology movement [gender critical]… They started to push out anybody who wasn’t into pharma… I’m gonna call it ‘pharma ideology.’ Do we have a name for it yet? Can I give it that name?
S: We like that. That could work on YouTube without getting us banned. I like that. No, it’s absolutely spot on and you’re absolutely right. Because, the thing is a lot of people…
J: Our father, who art in big pharma, hallowed be thy name…
S: Oh, I’ve missed you! I have missed you!
J: I’ve missed you too! We need to do this all the time!
S: We really do! It’s wonderful to have you with us! It really is! But it’s also wonderful because we’ve got an air of jubilance about us and there were times when we all felt really flattened by it. And it’s important what you just said though, is that it’s not just about gender, it is attached to so much, to children. The transing of children is one of the worst egregious things that I’ve ever seen in my entire life, right?
J: Informed consent. It’s all informed consent. It’s all related. Give us your children. Let us inject them with the mRNA. Let us trans your kids. And if you don’t, we’re gonna take your kids away from you. That’s the threat, isn’t it? And it’s the threat that people keep falling for over and over again. It’s the playbook.
S: Yup. It is.
J: And if you don’t follow these rules, we’re going to make your life a living hell.
S: We’re gonna ostracize you.
J: Ostracize you. Exactly. At this point I’m like, come. Come for me.
S: Well, because you’re an OG now, aren’t you? Right?
J: Right. [laughs]
S: You’re a gangster in all of this.
J: Right. Right. [laughs]
S: And that is the thing. There was a time, at the beginning, and actually, even though I’m not a fan of Jordan Peterson, I will always credit him with, at the very beginning, his pushback against trans ideology, which was brilliant at the start. It really was. But obviously, nobody can replace Magdalen Berns. She was absolutely sensational. Rest in peace, Magdalen.
J: Yeah, God bless her.
S: It was really hard. We were smeared. We were ostracized. We were cancelled. I remember I was due to go on the BBC for a Sunday morning program and they cancelled me at the last moment because I’d been in court supporting Miranda Yardley. And Miranda Yardley, transexual against a straight woman who worked for Mermaids! I mean, that’s where we were getting to! We were getting to straight people who were actually attacking, you know, intersex people, transexuals, gays, lesbians. And all these spicy straights who came from no where and wanted to be super cool.
J: Exactly. And you came out and stood up for the lesbians in a major way…
